Apple Admits to Cryptos Possible Longevity
Cupertino — Tech giant Apple has begun the long process to admitting cryptocurrencies have actual value. The vice president of Apple Pay, Jennifer Bailey remarked to CNN today “We think it’s interesting. We think it has interesting long-term potential.”
Apple has been notoriously quiet about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, at one point forbidding any blockchain-related apps from appearing on their App Store. Curiously, Apple filed paperwork with the SEC in February of this year with specific language related to cryptography including private keys and timestamps.
